Trendstop.com was founded in 2002 by ex-Central St Martins fashion graduate Jaana Jätyri, and is respected within the global fashion scene as a provider of accurate trend analysis and forecasts. Trendstop’s founder, Jaana Jãtyri, left her native Finland aged 19 in search of a fashion career and later graduated from London’s Central St Martins College of Art and Design.
Jaana set up a digital design consultancy which gave designers from companies like Marks & Spencer and River Island a boost on the road to becoming fully computerised.
Once they were fluent in the language of bits and bytes, they told her they wanted to know what the silhouettes will be for next season. So began her quest to find out, and Trendstop.com was launched in 2002. Jaana is available for interview.
