A manifestation of beautiful, ladylike clothes, Louis Vuitton\u2019s<\/strong><\/em><\/a> Fall Winter 2010-11 offing presents variations on the Fifties silhouette, when curves were de rigueur. Corsets, and draped volume, and a bricoalge of checks, chiffon and leather culminate in a succession of pieces that, whilst vintage inspired, loose all connotations of staid fussiness. Perhaps the most luxuriously elegant press day we are yet to attend, every garment, bag, shoe, shawl, purse and pair of lace-covered cats eye glasses exuded high-quality craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s difficult to decide just what is our \u2018it\u2019 item of choice, red, crushed velvet shoes, adorned with sparkly block heels and an oversized blue satin bow? Or a discreetly monogrammed bag with a tan, ostrich leather flap and gold fastening? Or a decadent leather keyring, resplendent in tradition Vuitton check with an illustration of tradition LV luggage? Decisions, decisions…<\/p>\n
